My horror short story “Sundown” is published in Hinnom Magazine’s 8th issue – which is released TODAY! The kindle edition is only $2.99 (USD) and $3.89 (CAD) on Amazon!

“Sundown” is a short story I wrote last fall as a part of a writing challenge.  I love doing writing challenges because you never know where the story is going to go, and it can help with any writer’s block that you might be experiencing. In this case, I did this challenge one evening with my Mom.  We both had the same first line and only an hour to write an entire story.  I love the sheer bliss of writing with no idea where it’s going. Needless to say, my story ended up a lot… darker than my Mom’s.  She might have been just a tad disturbed when she read it. Meh, what are you going to do?

I was interviewed for an author spotlight for their website, which was released today. Learn more about why I started writing, the inspiration behind “Sundown”, and read my tip for new writers

Anyway, let me know in the comments below if you read “Sundown” and what you thought about it!

It’s wonderful that your writing is being recognized! I can’t read horror, suspense or thrillers – they truly give me nightmares.
