She is also an academic librarian living in Saskatoon, Canada and has several short story publications, including ones in Suspense Magazine and Dark Helix Press’s Canada 150 anthology, Futuristic Canada. The Ghosts of Thorwald Place is her first novel.

The title says it all! Literally. My short story “The Debt” has been published in the March/April issue of Suspense Magazine!

For those of you who want a little more detail: “The Debt” is my attempt at historical fiction (more historical thriller-y) for the 2017 NYC Midnight Short Story Challenge.  This story was written in three days, and the prompts were: A father and a tunnel.  If you’re curious about my submission for the first round, check out “In Deep Water”, which is available to read for free online on Drunk Monkeys Literary Magazine.

Suspense Magazine’s website has a lot of free online content (book reviews, etc.) and they sometimes release issues for free.  You should definitely check it out!
